Major Interests:

• Titration methods of lipid characterisations, GC method, characterisation of phenolic extracts (total content, TLC), DPPH radical scavenging activity, inhibition of microsomal membrane lipoperoxidation, isolation of microsomes and mitochondrias from rat liver and LDL from human plasma. Inhibition of Cu²⁺-induced oxidation of human LDL. Cell cultures (rat hepatocytes, human umbilical vein endothelial cells), cytotoxicity and cytoprotectivity tests (MTT, LDH, NR, glutathion). SDS-PAGE electrophoresis, western blotting, markers of inflammation (NF-κB, p53), markers of apoptosis (casp3), adhesive molecules (ICAM, VCAM), toxicity evaluation of natural compounds using in vitro and in vivo methods
